POST /v1/catalogue/products/{product_id}/image

Give a product its picture: a PNG, JPEG or WebP of 8 MB at most, sent as a form.

Gives a product its picture, replacing any it had. Send it as a multipart form with the file in the field image. A product on sale is queued for the WhatsApp catalogue again, where the picture shows in product cards; square, and at least 500 × 500 px, looks best.

Needs the catalogue.products:write scope.

Errors

Every refusal is {"error": {"code", "message", "field"}}; field is there when one input is at fault.

Status	Error code	When
400	invalid_request	No image field, a picture larger than 8 MB, or one that isn’t PNG, JPEG or WebP (field is image).
404	not_found	No product of this account’s has that id.
404	module_off	The account doesn’t have Catalogue on.
403	scope_missing	The key doesn’t have the catalogue.products:write scope.
